Terms of Use
Effective October 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Wehbe LLC (“we”, “us”) for the COW Money app and cowmoney.app (together, “COW Money”). By creating an account or using COW Money, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use COW Money.
1. Who can use COW Money
You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and be allowed to access the checking account you connect.
2. What COW Money is
COW Money is a personal budgeting tool.
- What it does: it connects to one checking account with read-only access through Plaid. It shows your balance and transactions, lets you set money aside in envelopes, and estimates what’s safe to spend.
- What it doesn’t do: COW Money doesn’t move money, hold funds or make payments. It’s not a bank.
3. Not financial advice
COW Money is for organizing your own money. It doesn’t give financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
4. Your data and accuracy
- Where the data comes from: balances and transactions come from your bank through Plaid. They can be delayed, incomplete or occasionally wrong, and pending transactions can change.
- Safe to spend is an estimate: it’s based on that data and on the envelopes you set up.
- Your responsibility: check your bank before relying on a number, especially to avoid overdrafts. We aren’t responsible for fees or losses from decisions made using COW Money’s estimates.
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your account
- Signing in: you sign in with Apple or Google, and you’re responsible for keeping that account secure.
- Deleting it: you can delete your COW Money account anytime in the app’s Settings.
- Our right to suspend: we may suspend or close accounts that misuse COW Money or break these terms.
6. Subscriptions
- What you get: connecting and syncing your bank, and using envelopes with your own data, requires a subscription.
- Where you buy it: subscriptions are sold through Apple’s App Store at the prices shown before you buy. There’s no free trial; the demo lets you try COW Money with example data first.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month or year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app or your COW Money account doesn’t cancel it.
- Refunds: Apple handles refunds under its policies.
- When a subscription ends: your bank stays connected for 7 days, then it’s disconnected and its stored transactions are deleted unless you resubscribe.
7. Third-party services
COW Money relies on services we don’t control: Plaid, Apple and Google. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them. For example, Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy applies when you connect your bank.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t do any of the following:
- misuse COW Money
- interfere with it or try to access other people’s data
- reverse engineer it, except where the law allows
- use it for anything unlawful
9. Ownership
COW Money, Cash the cow and their content are owned by Wehbe LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and the App Store’s usage rules.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- No warranty: COW Money is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
- Indirect losses: to the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
- Cap: our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for COW Money in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes and ending
- Changes to COW Money and these terms: we may change COW Money or these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use COW Money after the change means you accept it.
- Ending: you may stop using COW Money and delete your account at any time.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and Wehbe LLC, not Apple.
- Responsibility: Apple isn’t responsible for COW Money or its content.
- Support: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
- Warranty: if COW Money fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
-
Claims: Apple isn’t responsible for addressing any claims relating to COW Money, including:
- product liability
- failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements
- consumer protection claims
- intellectual property infringement claims
We are responsible for those claims, as these terms describe.
- Your declarations: you confirm that you aren’t in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you aren’t on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.
